CleanCo Community Futures Fund

Aims to support not-for-profit groups operating in the communities which host CleanCo's generation assets.

Through the Community Futures Fund, CleanCo is seeking opportunities to deliver on their priorities:
- Seek opportunities to meaningfully contribute to vibrant, sustainable and resilient communities
- Seek to support regional economic development, including through building local supply chains and through training and employment opportunities.
- Endeavour to minimise their footprint by conserving the environment within which their assets are located, and actively invest in improved outcomes for the environments they operate in.

CleanCo will run two application rounds for the Community Futures Fund each financial year, with applicants able to request sponsorships and donations of up to $5,000 per round.

They aim to support not-for-profit organisations, community services, First Nations initiatives, educational institutes, small businesses, environmental associations and individuals.

The initiative or event must be located within one of the following local government areas:
- Cairns
- Cassowary Coast
- Darling Downs
- Goondiwindi
- Mareeba Shire
- Ipswich
- Rockhampton
- Somerset
- Southern Downs
- Tablelands
- Western Downs.

To be eligible for a CleanCo Community Futures Fund sponsorship, the initiative or event must fall under one of the following categories and be planned to take place within 12 months:
- Not-for-profit organisation or event
- Community services (eg. daycare, recreational groups, sporting clubs, arts and culture)
- First Nations initiatives
- Educational institutes
- Small businesses
- Environmental associations.
